Hi Skaters!
tl;dr: Make an appointment, wear a proper face mask, minimize the number of folks at your appointment. My mask protects you, your mask protects me. Please be respectful of others' safety.
We wanted to check in and let you know how the shop is operating after the tornado and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our current policies are as follows:
We are operating by appointment ONLY. Please call the shop to make an appointment. On weekdays you can most likely make an appointment same-day if you call in the morning, but Saturdays book up quickly. We suggest calling a day in advance if you plan on coming in on a Saturday or if you are traveling from outside of Nashville. (615) 228-1105
You must wear a mask to your appointment. This is legally required by the Nashville mask mandate, and helps keep both our customers and employees safe since we do need to get somewhat close to you to properly size your skates.
Your mask must cover your nose and mouth. Your mask is not just a formality. We have paper masks available if you forget your mask or if it does not adequately cover your face. Please refer to the CDC guidelines. Please keep your mask on for the entirety of your visit.
Appointments are limited to those trying on skates or purchasing gear (with the exception of minors who absolutely need to bring a parent/guardian to sign their waiver). You can show off your new skates to your buddies after your appointment!
It's no big deal if you're running late or need to cancel your appointment but please give us a call and update us!
There is a GLOBAL skate shortage at the moment thanks to COVID-19 making certain skate components hard to come by, factory production decreasing due to social distancing requirements, and a general uptick in interest in skating from those seeking fun quarantine hobbies. We will do our best to update our customers on availability and when we get new shipments in. Please be patient and tell us when you make your appointment if you are looking for a specific skate so we can let you know if we have it in stock.
